Dr. Herbert W. Riemenschneider

Innovative Expert, Devoted Practitioner

In medicine, as in other fields of science, there is a mainstream of thought which can afford a comfortable practice for those who merely follow the norms. But in every age there is also a leading edge—a small band of pioneers who move the mainstream toward new discoveries, new treatments and new solutions to age-old afflictions. It is a matter of devotion; the pioneers never rest until their vision of a new day is realized.

In a career devoted to research and development of effective new treatments, Dr. Herbert Riemenschneider stands apart as a medical pioneer and clinical visionary—and as one of the few true experts in his specialized field. As a urologic surgeon, a dedicated patient advocate and an innovator in delivering superior urologic care, Dr. Riemenschneider has devoted his life to creating the most profound legacy a medical researcher and practitioner can hope for: hundreds of his patients have reclaimed their lives from a potentially-devastating disease. This is a legacy to which many doctors aspire and few can claim: saving lives in new ways by having the courage and insight to see beyond the strictures of today and the limits of prior clinical practice. Patients of all kinds are fortunate to find such prescient practitioners.
